Journal of Snix Report #2

Days 2-3
I went down into the cellar, by myself, all alone. Luckily they didn't realise I wasn't a real rat, so I left the food and got out. We found out earlier that some of them were poisoned by it, making them easier to fight. We waited before storming in, and they swarmed us quick-fast! We fought hard, with Reed being pulled through a crack-slit in the wall by a monstrous mumma-rat covered in a hide of normal rats! We managed to kill the giant rats before following Vargo who had started chasing after Reed. Eventually we caught up and managed to destroy the foul beast-fiend.
We explored this new complex found in the basement (that Samuel claimed to have no knowledge of). There was a large statue, a room with a crystal which, when we... well, I hit it, activated a magical suit of armour that attacked us until we were able to smash the giant crystal. Another room had a magic mirror which showed a younger version of ourselves. We also found a sort of zombie that had been tortured with its eyes and claws missing that spoke a primordial language, and we believe was created by a female drow mage of sorts. He asked to be let free to return to his mistress, so we dressed him up and let him go.
