Archaios Tales from Across the Horizon

How does one carry on after saving the entire world from the brink of annihilation? You put in the work; the blood, sweat, toil, and tears. You accumulated vast wealth, weapons, and allies and stood tall against the darkness and did not falter. You won.   Now what?   Now that the world is safe, it continues to spin on. The land was devastated and the kingdoms of men and elves saw great hardships while rebuilding, but rebuild they did. The realms recovered in good time, and with the clouds of existentialism dispersed, we were all left to wonder what came next.   And so now we look across the horizon to a brave new world. The old kingdoms of Archaios have discovered new lands, new opportunities, and new allies (or perhaps new enemies?) in the tropical Talhani Isles off the vast coasts of the continents of K'allpa and Hatania. It is an age of discovery and development, but these all-too-fragile new powers would do well to heed the lessons learned by the dwarves of long ago: Evil things still lurk in the shadowy places; things that would be best left undisturbed. Delve too greedily or too deeply, and you may just come to regret not putting thine foolish ambitions to rest.
