Dawn Island

About 400 miles east of Feather Island, a small, lonely island sits on the surface of the East Ocean. It is surrounded by illusory copies of itself as a deterrent against intruders.
The small island contains a jungle and is flanked by beaches. Enormous stone tendrils are frozen across a spherical space around the island, like an eldritch beast attempting to drag it down into the sea. The colossal Dawn Cannon, an ancient structure that launches the sun and moon to begin each day/night cycle, stands in the middle of the island. Rings of yellow and blue light can be seen within the cannon's enormous barrel.
Dawn Island is surrounded by a powerful spherical arcane forcefield called a mythal. This mythal was created by The Dragon Council and prevents anything from entering without permission from one of its members. The dragon Dawnzithyre stands vigil on Dawn Island, monitoring the sun and moon cycle to protect it from anything that would attempt to damage it.
