Something went terribly wrong with the Leak. The people of Crow’s Brook reacted to the juice incredibly fast, and somehow cleaned it up without taking so much as a sip. I thought a pack of anarchic dogs would scramble and flee at the sign of trouble, to save themselves… instead, they actually collaborated to filter out Glimmer Lake. I suspect that the Overseer is responsible for the spontaneous teamwork; we’ll have to deal with them before we can pull the rug on that rat nest of a city.
We’re moving to plan B, calling in a favor from our special friends. I am returning to the old castle to begin the summoning ritual. I will petition Kimidan for a stronger force this time, which will require a much bigger offering. We have eyes in Birchland and Solaki searching for possible sacrifices. I’ve heard that tensions are rising between the noble houses; smells like opportunity to me.
Meanwhile, I’m going to scry for possible threats on the outside. I want to find who stopped the Leak and how.
