Frozen wastes

West of Zymora, past the tall hills that run north to south, is a mostly uncharted land of ice and snow known as the frozen wastes. Adventurers who return from the wastes often bring back treasures extracted from ancient ruins, but many due not return due to dangers posted by the climate and the frost giants.

From the view atop the bordering hills, viewers have described a number of distant sights seen within the wastes: a castle, a huge village, a floe-covered lake, and a large creature flying in the sky. The Frozen Watchtower sits upon one of the border hills.
