Labyrinth - Bak'la, the one who impressed the dragon

Text

We honor the mightiest heroes among us with stone statues, that the strength of this earthen form will immortalize them for their efforts. Those that pay homage to these unforgettable legends with a recitation of name and title shall be bestowed a gift.   Arms we brandish, shields we bestow, enchantments we enunciate, to stand against our enemies and last another day. The greatest weapon of all is allyship, for two is greater than one, and thousands are greater than hundreds. Among our own warriors, we cherish with eternal gratitude the great dragon Plutathampos, forever enshrined as a savior of our people. With her guidance and might, our posterity is much better secured. Here we honor Bak’la, diplomat extraordinaire and master of tongue, for his efforts in convincing Plutathampos to aid our cause.   [The thri-kreen statue near this plaque has a damaged inscription at its base: “………., the one who impressed the dragon.”]
