Text
This book is intact enough that a few poems can be read.
Poem #1
There are times when we are mad,
Just remember that we can be glad.
There are times when we will cry,
Just dream of the Undersky.
There are times when we are scared,
When we shouldn’t have done what we dared.
There are times when we feel alone,
But we remember to find our way home.
Poem #2
The town is safe, a box, our big shared home.
Like a firefly in a jar, we are happy to be safe inside.
The Labyrinth halls outside are unsafe to roam.
Like a quiet forest, they spread far and wide.
If you should wander, you will be lost astray.
The maze is much too big, and we are too little.
The numbers will guide you if you lose the way.
If forward is backward, they lead to the middle.
