Snavopolis
The capital of Snavon is Snavopolis, the largest city in the world. This metropolis is a hub of science, engineering, arcana, and business. Tall corporate office buildings stand proudly near the center of the city, surrounded by countless workshops, homes, laboratories, and shops. Among the central buildings are the Snavopolis Court and City Hall. The Arena, one of the prime sources of entertainment in the city, is also found downtown. The outskirts of town are mostly suburban homes and smaller shops. Just down Snavon River from the city are several factories operated by water wheels. Just outside the west edge of the city is Brickard Prison.
The Snavopolis Court is responsible for passing judgement on alleged criminals. Crime is punished fairly severely in Snavopolis- convicted felons are often sentenced to months or years in Brickard Prison, even for relatively small crimes
Homeless folk are also strictly forbidden from the city; the streets, benches, and gardens are designed to prevent anyone from lingering longterm, and the police are quick to escort "undesireables" out of town. Those who end up penniless are left to fend for themselves in ghettos or forests in the city's outskirts.
Government
Snavon is a plutocracy. The seven wealthiest individuals in the province gather in Snavopolis's center to discuss laws and make decisions for the entire province. A new member of the council could replace an existing one by proving that they own more wealth than an existing member; however this is unlikely to happen, as the current leaders are each the owners of a major corporation that together own nearly every business in the city. The Council of Seven meet in City Hall on a monthly basis.Law & enforcment
