Sshuka was an intelligent male yuan-ti wizard who lived in a laboratory in Solaki. Yuan-ti do not experience emotions in the same way humanoid beings do, so Sshuka's objective was to study emotions and their effects on the behavior of other humanoid races. He crafted enchanted rings with different emotional effects and cursed them to be impossible to remove. He would grant a ring to an unsuspecting victim as a "gift", then scry on them to learn how their attitude and decisionmaking were impacted by the injected emotion. He had no regard for the wellbeing of his victims, and their fates were simply another observation for his research.
Sshuka was found and slain during
2023-12-12 The Ringbearer's Revenge. Balasar and the other adventurers discovered that Sshuka reported to another yuan-ti named General Kassahar.
