Zubie

Zubie is a male halfling living in Salmund. He spent many years in a state of constant inebriation in The Crossroads. He was banned from the establishment when Gregor Finch, the pub's owner, discovered that he was paying his tab with a magic coin that would return to Zubie's possession when spent.
In a mini-mission after 2023-11-25 Magma's Blessing, Green exposed Zubie's secret magic coin and magically removed his drunken state. Zubie revealed that the strange coin was a "gift" from Sylniq, the dark scholar when the lich murdered his friends and family, and that he spent his days drinking to repress the memory. He mentioned that he used to be a carpenter. Amartherui then employed Zubie in his brewery so he could earn a legitimate income.
