An Order domain cleric of Kolif'rem and Inquisitor of the Escherian Inquisition, Clair is both friendly and formidable. She is ruthlessly professional, but nevertheless seems receptive to the party's concerns about the racism they've experienced in Escher and takes time to ensure they're being treated well under her authority. Inquisitor Clair arrived in Waybury Outpost from her home temple in Orbwick about four days after the murder and immediately took over the investigation, appearing to have ordered a search of Captain Rose's office as well as presumably searching the related crime scenes.
