King Theodore Albright Marries Lady Eleanora Griffiths

Marriage

4/14

King Theodore marries Queen Eleanora, the sixth daughter of Baron Simeon Griffiths.

Queen Emeritus Sofia did not approve of Theodore's marriage to Eleanora, on the grounds that she was the sixth daughter of a noble from a lesser house, but the marriage was blessed by Arnest. Theodore and Eleanora had been childhood friends, and fell in love as they reached adulthood. Theodore planned their wedding on the anniversary of his parents' wedding to honor his parents' desire to create a sense of culture and tradition in Escher, and in doing so established the holiday Queen's Day, celebrated annually in Escher. It became tradition for Escherian kings to marry on Stella 4th.
