That night the princess begs the king to let her marry the man. The king says only if she can making the prince of near by kingdom to break off her engagement. This cause the princess to threaten the prince that she will bear no heirs for him. The prince not taking the threat lightly broke off the engagement.  Then the princess quickly wed with the peasant receiving a dowry of thousands of gold pieces. The next morning both were found dead with a broken silver coin in their mouth. Some say that these coins a mere myth but other claim that they're have seen sinners with these coins or that they themselves are that foolish sinner waiting to the devil to revive his end of the bargain.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When the coin is flipped and lands on the ground a one-way gateway to the Nine Hells is opened. This gateway lasts for 1d8 hours and can be used by 1d10 creatures. The layer to which this gateway opens is determined by the type of devil the deal was made with. If user is on the layer to which the devil belongs the gateway will fail to open. Once the devil holds up his end of the deal he can use the coin to appear in front of the sinner and claim their soul killing the sinner. This will cause the coin to split in two. If the devil is killed the coin becomes a regular silver coin losing its ruby red inking.
