Enchanted Craved Duck

A Goblin artificer slaves away paint a mallard duck pattern on to his craved duck. Knowing that small flock ducks can be the difference between him being dinner for wolves or the ducks. A Dwarf wizard smashes the craved during a royal ball causing panic and chaos. This small object can first seem useless but can come in handy in pinch when a distraction or quick meal is needed.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

When the glass heart in the duck is shattered or the duck is burned summon 1d4+2 ducks for 1d10 hours. If the objected was created by a player character the number of duck is equal to the number killed during it's creation. Each summoned duck behaves like a normal duck and appears identical to rest of the summoned ducks.

Manufacturing process

First a small wooden duck must be craved and painted. The paint of the duck determines what the summoned ducks will look like. The second step is to slaughter a minimum of two ducks and maximum of six ducks, whose blood must be used to bound the souls of said duck to the piece of heart shaped glass. Finally the heart has to be placed inside the hollow duck of the carving.
