Aqrabuamelu
The Scorpion Humanoids of the Desert, known as the Aqrabuamelu, are feared and considered monstrous by some. Actually relatively harmless, unless you anger them, they roam the desert hunting for insects as they are insectivores. With the upper torso, head and arms of a human and the body, legs, tail and pincers of a scorpion-they're vaguely reminiscent of a centaur only more alarming in their visual status.
