Hobgoblin
Hobgoblins from The Western Woods are trained by the fairies before embarking on their journey to find a household that is in need of help. They may travel solo or in groups of 2-3, Sometimes in family units. The young once old enough travel back to the Western World, to decide if they would like to be a household hobgoblin or take a different job instead.

Hobgoblins help with household chores while the house is away/sleeping. They can also get up to mischief from time to time so members of the household make sure to leave food and drink out for them to thank them for their help.

Some of the youth who were sent back for training were intercepted and led astray. Being trained as guards and fighters this crew began to forget their roots and care for nothing but the thrill of battle. Controlled and made to kill, over time they became killing machines. Those who took them experimented on them until they grew in stature and ability. Some mutated, some didn't make it, and some became monstrous with no empathy. The fae were not built for senseless violence.

They function within households symbiotically, helping with ironing or mending for example, in exchange for being fed.
