Prophet of Ormälskare
The rank of Prophet is a temporary position. Bestowed for only a year at a time the prophet travels the lands of the Formene spreading the will of the gods. People both fear and admire the prophets.
Qualifications
They must go through rigorous physical spiritual and mental tasks to become a priest let alone a prophet. Any priest who passes all three sets of tasks is qualified enough to be appointed to the rank of Prophet.
Requirements
They must have a connection to the gods and be literate. If not able to write, then at least read.
Appointment
They must have been a faithful cleric for several years and passed the tests of hearing from the gods before they are appointed to prophet.
Duties
Traveling the land to the people. Sharing the gods words. Listening to the people. Communing with the gods for the people.
Responsibilities
Maintaining their garb. Seeing to their steed. Traveling in a timely manner. Some are sent to settle for a while. Some are to travel back and forth between the capital and other towns.
Benefits
They are put up in each town and revered by the people as a mouthpiece of the gods.
Accoutrements & Equipment
A long flowing set of robes with a large hood is the usual garb with a satchel full of scrolls, a waterskin and a walking stick. They usually also have some kind of mount.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
If they are caught slacking off or changing the words of the gods they will be stripped of their duties and made to do the most menial tasks in penance.

The Triumvirate has scribes write the will of the gods on parchment and the prophets travel sharing the words and enquiring of the gods as necessary in each town.
Length of Term
They travel for a year then get rotated into temple duties for a year.
