The Slumber Moth
The Slumber Moth is a tale told to children. In the tale, the Moth flies over each house and sheds a fine powder that brings sleep.
The tale usually begins with the Slumber Moth dancing through meadows of beautiful flowers and flying over the trees. Swooping over brooks and mountains and playing through the day. Until finally it heads to bed. They have played in the land of Nod where the pollens and dusts of the day that have sleepy effects mix and then fall off the moth as it flies over the houses to get home. The dust settles over the children with a calming fragrance and helps them sink into a peaceful sleep with pleasant dreams.

Variations & Mutation
Some parts use this story also as a warning to children. To say if they are not in bed when the Slumber Moth comes, that it's eyes will glow red and it will bite and flutter and usher them in to bed and that due to the glow that the sleep powder will bring unpleasant dreams and a terrible sleep.
