Urogalan

The diplomatic capital of Lurien and the largest city in Yondalla after the Orcish invasion of Aroveen in 844.

Demographics

During most of its existance, Urogalan has been home to primarily Halflings and Hill Dwarves. Between the 1st and 9th centuries, it was also home to a large population of Half-Orcs and elves. Following the Orcish occupation of Aroveen, many Elves left the continent entirely, including it's capital, and the vast majority of the half-orc population in the area resettled in Behk.

Industry & Trade

The city's primary export is in the tropical fruit grown in large plantations just south of the city, and in vegetable oil - highly sought after all over Arconam as an ingredient and a cooking aid.

Architecture

Most buildings in the city do not exceed two stories in height and are white-washed to deflect the intese heat of the South-Central coast. Terracotta is the traditional roofing material in the area and buildings heavily feature columns and arches around entryways and windows.
