Void Seers
The Void Seers are an ancient cult devoted to the worship of and understanding of perfect nothingness. They believe that existence itself is a mistake, and that the only perfection lies in its eradication. It is unclear how old this cult is, but their devotees, known by their strange, eyeless masks, have shown up in the historical record for millennia.
Mythology & Lore
Central to the Void Seers' mythology is the pole star, Atropon. They believe that it is the end of a long thread, dangling the cosmos over the chaos and nothingness of the void. At the cosmos's center is the earth, still and unmoving. If only the string were to be cut, it would fall and be devoured. Many of the cult's prayers and rituals focus on calling for this severing.
Divine Origins
The origins of the Void Seers lie somewhere in the distant past. Some historians even believe that they may have existed prior to the Awakening.
