Haradrim

Rules? More like guidelines!

The Haradrim are the people of the nation of Harad. Widely perceived as thieves and knaves, most are regular people who live hard lives under the thumb of the powerful Merchant Lords of the land. Against the reach and oversight of the Merchant Lords, it is difficult to find good and honest employment in Harad's cutthroat markets. As a result, many seek employment or fulfillment in banditry, piracy, or other forms of organized crime.   Unsurprisingly, Harad is a dangerous place to live, and help is difficult to find. Church and government services are close to none, and hopelessly bloated and corrupt to boot. As a result of living in this environment, most Haradrim have a disdain for most organizations, even seemingly helpful ones. Even despite these hardships, the Haradrim seek to make the most out of their lives, seeking out wealth, power, and experiences that make life worth living. On the flip-side, wealthy Haradrim, especially those with powerful Merchant Lord connections, thrive and live luxurious lives in Harad, much at the expense of everyone else.   Harad is mostly populated by men, but there is a significant minority of orcs, duergar, and kobolds who live in Harad. Much like the men of the region, many face the same hardships; some even worse at the hands of slavers or the dasterd Merchant Lords.   Adventurers: Most Haradrim are poor, and many more are desperate for change or power. As a result, Haradrim adventurers are relatively common serving as mercenaries, pirates, or even assassins. For those seeking to turn over a new leaf, many find it is difficult to break the stereotype of Haradrim as bandits or blackguards; others embrace the role wholeheartedly.   For more information on the Haradrim, see their main article: Harad.
I just found it like this, I swear!

RP Calculation

In order to keep potential new ancestries balanced, I used a "race point" calculator in an effort to create equitable ancestries. For comparison, a non-variant human is 9 RP.
