Romanoran

Heirs of a mighty empire

The Romanorans possess a long history of glory and conquest, and the Romanorum Empire has waxed and waned over the millennia of its span. Even today, many Romanorans seek to rebuild their empire to its former glory, through peace or warfare. In light of their aspirations, the Romanorans are a people who cherish their history and tradition, and are devoted to making their goals into reality.   While many Romanorans see themselves through the lens of military glory, many more are focused to developing their homeland to what made it originally great - civilization and stability. As such, many are ardent about a need for continual improvement and adaptation without undermining their traditional values of strength, tradition, and unity. While many consider it honorable to be a Romanoran legionnaire, any profession could be considered to be honorable so long as it contributes to the vision of a greater empire.   Since the time of the Second Primordial War, the Romanorans have preached inclusion via a common and utilitarian culture, including elves, dwarves, gnomes, and halflings among their numbers in earlier history. Since the Last of the Primordial Wars, the demographic has shifted, the Empire now largely represented by men, with large minorities of elves and orcs.   Adventurers: In general, a Romanoran looking for honor or accolades is generally more likely to join the Romanoran Legion. Yet, not all Romanorans share the same outlook, and some prefer to work in smaller groups with more flexibility and greater notoriety, such as adventuring guilds, parties, or even acting as Torch agents. Such enterprises are greatly improved by their stalwart and organized Romanoran allies.   For more information on the Romanorans, see their main article: Romanorum

RP Calculation

In order to keep potential new ancestries balanced, I used a "race point" calculator in an effort to create equitable ancestries. For comparison, a non-variant human is 9 RP.
