The Blood Letters of Queen Margeshed
Ink Stained Peace
In the months following her coronation, Queen Margeshed sat at her desk and wrote a series of letters ordering the assassination of all the major figures of each of the seven cities. During the wars that had ravaged Arda Almayed throughout the 2nd century CE, Queen Margeshed had made many allies and ennemies as the leader of the largest faction. Fearful of loosing the peace she had fought for, she decided to eliminate any who could possibly oppose her- ennemies and allies alike.
In the following months, nobles, politicians, merchants and generals died from unfortunate accidents, choking, allergies, illness, or even tragic nights of carousing that end in back alley stabbings. To protect her throne and reputation, Queen Margeshed delivered the letters herself, under the guise of a working girl. Some letters were brought to assassins, and others were simple orders to house staff who would either be paid handsomely or were otherwise blackmailed into doing what was told.
It took many long months of work for the Queen to eliminate her opposition, but she was able to gather the courts of the various cities and regions to her Palace in Nares. Centralised behind a single figure, the Danatelian Lands were for the first time at peace with one another.

Oh. OH. That took a turn very quickly that I did not expect. I see why these are called the Blood Letters now. Like...wow. And the fact that she delivered them all HERSELF? Impressive and very hardcore.
