Lolth, The Spider Queen

The evil god of deceit, darkness, loss and spiders, Lolth weaves a complicated web of schemes and treachery through her worshipers, deceiving allies and enemies alike to gain power. It is said that the Spider Queen can see through the eyes of all spiders, and that she is truly all-knowing. She also represents grief and loss, and the darkness that comes with it. 
Many followers of Lolth are Drow scattered across Ardicil, whose leaders seek to raid and pillage the lands above. They spin webs of lies and darkness in order to capture those who serve the light. Many find it difficult to fall to Lolth by accident, and for this reason her temples are scattered few and far between. 
Lolth remains banished within an unknown sliver of the Far Realm that now borders the deepest pits of the Underdark, where the boundaries between worlds grow thin and birth terrible abominations bent on subjugation.
