Star Shard

Star Shards are pieces of Panamonium which were released during the Divergence. Pieces of the various planes became wedged in the material plane and astral sea, and occasionally cross over. These different shards create an essence of the plane they draw energy from, and have been used as conduits of power between the planes. Some separated deities have seen these to be useful in the creation of portals, anchors of power, or to bring about the bleeding of planes into the material.
