What is the Elder Council?
The Elder Council is a secretive collective of immortal timekeepers maintaining the natural order of the universe, with a subscription level valued at $75 USD per month, charged via Patreon. Becoming a member of the Elder Council comes with the following perks:

Participation as a canon in-game character.

Where does my Contribution go?
The objective of this project is to build a community of users sharing stories and having fun. At $75 a month, you are given an authority level of Narrative Control in the form of a canon in-game character of the Essebu race. Essebu are a lost mythic race of immortal timekeepers, historians, and stargazers who maintain the natural order of the metaverse. Your contribution will go towards the Insurgent Owl Productions revenue stream, funding development and new content. Each month you will be given a "voting tally," a unit of voting power with which you can vote AYE, NAY, or ABSTAIN. Abstaining saves your voting tally for a later date. An Elder Council member may only hold a maximum of seven (7) voting tallies.
What is Narrative Control?
Ardras is a "living world," that intends to continue to grow and adapt to the developing metaverse, participate in a web3 environment, and allow the formation of "digital assets." Narrative Control determines how deeply your actions affect the overall mythos and lore of the world of Ardras as it continues to develop.
What if I can't pay?
If you are unable to pay for a month, or your payment fails to process, your status will be considered INACTIVE. An inactive account cannot participate in community events, and new submissions for content will not be accepted. Inactive members of the Elder Council are not permitted to participate in voting, and no voting tally will be awarded for an unpaid month. Succesful payment returns the user's status to ACTIVE.
