Shared customary codes and values

The Vulkra Shuman are dangerous, menacing lizardfolk known for their penchant for cruel enslavement practices and destructive warlords; particularly dating back to the Era of Dusk, where the consolidation of power through the Balkra's Chained cult found its niche in the upper echelons of the warlike clan.   The Vulkra Shuman are best known as the most cruel and savage of all the tokage clans, having even in the past feasted on Human flesh. During the height of this clan's power, they owned and operated an extensive network of slave traders to feed the ruthless cult behind their rise to power.   At the fall of their kingdom in the early Era of Dusk, these warlords were scattered across the desert wastes of The Drylands. Though large, hulking, and powerful, the influence behind their clan name is long gone, and only their fearsome notoriety remains.

Common Etiquette rules

A Vulkra Shuman clan lord is expected to be the most respected individual in the room, and fealty to the clan lord from their lesser vassals and slaves mandated upon threat of death. Fortunately those days are behind, however their aggression and expectation of fealty still remains. Honor, bravery, and physical prowess are respected traits amongst this clan.

Common Dress code

Members of this clan are most often clad in bone armor, along with leather armor, and hide accessories. Many have taken to adopting other clans' style of dress, operating and existing amongst the darker elements of the tokage culture.

Art & Architecture

The clan of Vulkra Schuman is said to have built out the complex tunnels beneath the volcano Vulkra Shumar with a massive army of slaves toiling day and night in the roiling heat; when their bodies were entirely spent, the remains of these slaves were fed to their patron deity Balkra the Burning Efreet deep within the volcano itself.   Deep subterranean complexes beneath the volcano were carved with terrifying visages into the walls of the caverns by anguished slaves cursing their lives, it is said that some of these carvings use dark blood magic, though this is disputed by those not brave enough to find out for themselves.

Ideals

Gender Ideals

Vulkarn women often desire strong, musclenbound men who assert dominance in a social group; often they will only submit themselve to men that they believe can overpower them.   Vulkarn men desire healthy broad birthing hips as to ensure the continuation of their lineage, they especially are fond of pleasant smelling perfumes and exquisite odors.

Courtship Ideals

Vulkarn, like most tokage, enjoy the art of dance and gesticulation. Vulkarns in mating dance are something to behold, as the two lizards appear to violently attack one another, biting the other's neck and tearing at them with sharp claws. In actuality, this is a "testing of the skin," to ensure the other's hide is durable, signifying strength.

Relationship Ideals

Strong kin and powerful children are desirable to the mighty and proud Vulkarn; a Vulkarn clan member often seeks out an equally ferocious partner who can match them tooth and claw. Though they don't stick around each other for long, Vulkarn Shumar tokage are more individualistic when it comes to partnering.
Notably the largest sized tokage clan, their hulking bodies and powerful strength is matched only by their abject cruelty and savage nature.
