Gwydion Beth
Prince Gwydion Beth
Second son and fourth child of Ruark Redeye and Ellinor Graunt, Gwydion was conceived after the news of Dorren the Young King's death. He was called the Child of the Gods, as Ellinor was past her fiftieth year upon his birth. Named for King Gwydion Ainros the Great.
Because his father was exiled with the express purpose of removing his claim to the throne, Gwydion's birth was kept secret. He was unknown to nearly all people until the death of Prince Bennerog, at which point his claim to the stone was put forth.
