Häthadati (Old Draconic)
It has become the modern academic consensus that Häthadati is the oldest known language, with records of it dating back 60,000 years. As of now, no other languages from that time period have been discovered in depth, and while Häthadati is a dead language, it left its legacy in the form of the draconic family of languages.
Geographical Distribution
This language is not spoken anywhere, making it a dead language. However, it is the ancestor of all of the known draconic languages. In its time of use, it was spoken throughout much of Rythkar, Beogar, Iudanth, Balukthur, and Arvyr by the dragons of that time. Scholars are almost certain that it was spoken elsewhere, as it is believed to have been spoken by nearly all of the ancient dragons.
Syntax
Häthadati is a language that features a rather unique word order. It has been noted as both free word order with some irregularity or as an Object Subject Verb language with some irregularity. This is because the exact placement of the Subject and Object is reliant upon the perceived proximity of the word to the speaker. For example, in Häthadati, "I give you my money" would become "My money I you give." However, if the sentence were "You wield your sword," the order would become "You your sword wield." There are no definitive rules as to how this proximity is defined, leaving it almost completely up to the speaker. As such, it can be used in conjunction with things such as family, owned objects, friends, personal beliefes, values, and creations, and even religions that one follows.
