Kartholan

Kartholan is the capital city of the powerful nation of Kalash. While not much is known about it due to the isolationist nature of Kalash, there are some details that come from the sparse journals of the half-elven traveling merchant Kieran Averson.

Geography

Kartholan is nestled in the valley in between the point where the southern Kolkari Mountains diverge. There, it lies on the shores of a lake with the misty slopes of the Shrouded Peaks behind it. This lake, which is fed by mountain runoff, feeds into the Kashen River, leading to the sea not long after.
