Shadow Magic

Shadow Magic was, despite the similarities in nomenclature, completely removed from Shadow Weave magic. While magic from the Shadow Weave pulled from said weave, shadow magic used the Plane of Shadow to alter physical reality through the use of Mystryl's Weave. It was often used by shadowcasters, spellcasters who specialized in the manipulation of the Plane of Shadow, and shadowdancers, rogues who had an innate ability to influence the Plane of Shadow and were thus able to use abilities resembling that of a shadowcaster, yet without the use of any magic.
