The Sablekeep

The Sablekeep is a keep with a large central tower located at the top of the cliffs of Callrenas. It serves as the administrative center of Callrenas, as well as the entirety of the Mithrakl Isles. Inside of it resides Jalhannis Iurim, a member of the Erudite Enclave.

Purpose / Function

It serves as both an administrative building as well as quarters for the Erudite Archmage Jalhannis Iurim. The large tower that dominates the keep is mostly occupied by Jalhannis's personal quarters, private library, and laboratory.

Alterations

The western side of the keep was rebuilt after The Siege of Callrenas, in which the keep was heavily damaged. As a result, this section was rebuilt. However, it was reconstructed in much the same way it was originally.

Architecture

The architecture in Lanador is of a somewhat High Victorian Gothic architecture. However, it is unique in that tektite is utilized in structural support. Also, due to the lack of clay in the Mithrakl Isles, much of the architecture is made of various types of stone and lumber.
