Veresk

Veresk was a large nation that dominated the coast of the Aephian Sea to the east of Balukthur. It was unique in that it had a large number of settlements in the actual sea, due to the fact that much of the Vereskan population is triton or elven (sea elves). This empire fell, receding back into the waters, after a civil war that began due to the increasing racial and political tension. Behind it were left a number of fractured principalities and nations of sea elves and even a small population of above-water triton.
