Description: Ah Mutzi Cab is one of the more important gods in Michocano mythology. Ah Mutzi Cab survived the destruction of the first world and when the new spirits of the cardinal directions came to hold up the sky he volunteered to hold up the eastern side and was thus made a god. There are some conflicting stories that say Ah Mutzi Cab tricked the eastern spirit into letting him take their place, meaning that he stole godhood from the eastern spirit. Not much is puplically known about Ah Mutzi Cab due to the secretive nature of his sacred brotherhood. His priests keep special thatch apiaries where they raise a special stingless veriety of bee in hives made from hollowed out logs. The honey produced by these bees is toxic and psychoactive. To smaller creatures the honey works as a paralytic that causes the breathing reflex to shut down. Because of this the honey is used to hunt small game by dipping the tips of blowdarts in the honey. The toxin in the honey does not toxify the meat of the animal, but rather gives it a sweet taste. To larger creatures and the player races, in very small amounts, the honey works as a powerful psychoactive agent that causes wild hallucenations for two hours that always have a bee theme. It is used by the Ah Mutzi Cab brotherhood to commune with their god. The honey is also traded in small amounts to other religious groups in Michocan and with the Oristani for shamanic purposes.
