Cabrakt'can - Earthquakes

God of mountains and earthquakes.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Suggested Domain: Earthquakes, Destruction

Symbol: Crocodile or Erupting Mountain

Description: Depicted as a giant crocodile, his steps shake the earth, and his lashing tail destroys mountains. At the end of each age it was Cabrakt'can who shook the world causing the new land to take shape. While on one of his destructive rampages the twin heroes Chunachtu and Tlalan'que tracked his by his massive foot falls. When they caught up to him they used his vanity against him. They challenged him to break a far away mountain in the sand dessrt to the northwest, saying that the mountain was too strong and no one could break it. Cabrakt'can detesting being called weak, said that if the mountain was so strong only he could destroy it. To honor the challenge the twin shot down a bird and smeared it in sacred plants and earth and gave it to Cabrakt'can as an offering. He immediately gulped it down and ran to the mountain to smash it, but on the way the sacred plants and earth weakened Cabrakt'can and instead of smashing the mountain he was buried by the rubble. Which is why the far away Mount Gal is always erupting. It is said that when he finally escapes it will be the end of the sixth age. Worship and offerings to Cabrakt'can are to appease his so he will continue to sleep.
