Chaac - Rain

God of rain, thunder, and lightning, wields an axe of lightning.

Description: Chaac is the most important of the Michocan gods. He supplies the rain for crops, taught man agriculture, and his tears are the rain. In war it is customary for the king/God-King to dress as Chaac to symbolize the power of the flood. Worship of Chaac always involves sacred water and offerings to him are usually food that is grown locally.
