Raw materials & Components
Made from Kuai and Tars woods from the Modtoi Tsol region of Oristan. The string tuners are traditionally Tars wood, but sometimes metal string tuners manufactured in Kishnagar are used. Strings are traditionally made from Dzeer gut, but recently metal strings made in Ashfanabad have become popular.
