Description: In Michocano society he only acceptable reason to commit suicide is to end lingering pain and suffering. If a suffering person chooses to end their life they will make a small alter and burn offerings to Ixtlab before taking their life. When the person dies Ixtlab will come down from heaven and embrace the soul of the departed as she raises them up the heavens, this is the only direct route to the heavens without having to deal with the underworld. It is understood that the soul has suffered enough and shouldn't have to deal with anymore trials.
