Juneg
A small species of fox with very large ears common across the arid regions of Oristan.

Anatomy
A large earred species of fox common to northern Oristan and most of Ashfanabad.
Ecology and Habitats
The Juneg prefer semi-arid to arid grasslands and deserts of oristan and Ashfanabad.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Juneg are ominvores, feeding on small rodents, insects, lizards, small birds and eggs, as well as fruit, tuberous roots, and fresh growth on low shrubbery. The Juneg recieves most of it water from its prey, although they drink water if available. Juneg have been known to bury food in special burrows to store food for colder months.

Juneg live in small family groups in simple burrows usually found near bushes or small trees.
Domestication
Juneg are frequently kept as pets by the Oristani to help keep campsites free of pests and to alert to intruders.
