Temazcal

A sweat lodge used for ritual purification before conducting or leading religious ceremonies. The Temazcal is usually circular with a small pit of coals and hot rocks in the center. Water is splashed on the rocks to increase the tempurature and steam level. A typical Temazcal will seat up to ten people, however larger ones can hold around 20.
