Voice of Commons

The Voice of Commons is elected by the people of the realm to ensure the will of the people is known to the King of the realm. They are the representatives by the people, of the people, for the people. In the unlikely event the Two Kings are split in a decision the Voice of Commons will be the deciding factor. This ensures, and re-enforces the fact that the people always have a voice.

Qualifications

One only needs to be a citizen of the realm for a period of 5 years or more.

Appointment

An election is held once every 5 years for the Voice of Commons. The people of the realm elect one representative per village, settlement and city. Of those elected, the people vote whom will take the office. The prior Voice of Commons may be re-elected as well if the people chose so.

Duties

The Voice of Commons is to bring matters of great concern, opinions on important matters to the King of the realm, who in turn, will take this into consideration while deciding upon a course of action.

Responsibilities

The Voice of Commons is to ensure that the will of the people are heard and that all decisions made by the King is made with the people of the realm in mind.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If the people of the realm believe the Voice of Commons no longer speaks for them, they may elect a new Voice of Commons at anytime, who shall remove the former from office with the authority of the entire Royal Court.
