Warforged
During the great civil war of the ancient Elven Kingdom, the many factions strove to defeat their enemies. A struggle for new weapons and armor began. From this, the Warforged were created using techniques lost to time and ancient powerful magics on the 21st day of Yosre, 50500 FOE. The creation of them was a resounding success and many variations of models were created for specific purposes ranging from assassination, scouting, negotiations, spellcraft, front line fighting, ambushing and rumors say some were designed for sieges. As of today, none have been found. Yet scholars have found evidence of them in ancient Elven ruins of the Lost Kingdom. They claim two models have yet to be found: The Warforged Titan, made to destroy enemy lines and devastate armies and The Warforged Colossus, made to destroy entire cities and the suspected cause of the end of the Eleven Civil War. At the end of the Fall of the Elven Kingdom (Fall of Eleves, FOE). The once thought mindless constructs were discovered to have sentience. After peace was made, it was found they each have souls. It was believed that not wishing to offend the gods, the Eleven Kings destroyed all records of how the Warforged were made and released all Warforged from servitued and into the world. Since then, they have spread throughout all of Arelia. No one knows exactly how long they live or if they are even capable of reproduction but one thing is certain. They never seem to dwindle in number. Perhaps whatever great secret was once thought destroyed still remains?
