Hemida Barr constructs an intricate clockwork body for her husband Yelsin Barr, which enables him to avoid death indefinitely.
Hemida Barr, in the belief that her husband deserves to see his city completed, constructed for him an intricate clockwork body which, unlike flesh and blood, would never slow or falter. Yelsin was thankful, but begged his wife to build herself a body to match. Hemida agreed, but would not live long enough to see her body completed.
