Shiori Kei
Majordomo Shiori Kei
Shiori Kei is the Majordomo at Seto's Bathhouse. She previously served in Daichi's army before being relieved of her position by General Mak due to a traumatic experience which left her physically unable to fight effectively. She has soft facial features, with golden eyes and long black hair, and is often found wearing her traditional wear. She walks with a slight limp, and is no longer as physically strong as she used to be. What she lacks physically, she makes up for with her prowess in leadership.
Shiori possesses natural leadership skills, being highly responsible and goal driven, yet simultaneously compassionate and insightful. She is able to inspire her subordinates to join her in doing every task with enthusiasm and dedication. She is generally good with people and handling social situations and speaks in a manner which could be described as flowery and gentle like a blossom.
She is a fast learner and values honesty and hard work and is respectful and friendly towards everyone she meets. She does however, become highly protective of those close to her, and if they were to be disrespected or hurt, she would not hesitate to put the offender in their place. This can be seen as her greatest strength or her greatest weakness.
Her name can be loosely translated to bookmark or guide, which fits her guiding and motherly nature.

Personal history
The Injury
Shiori suffered a major injury to her left leg around three years ago, and although she has come to terms with it and it no longer affects her as it used to, the traumatic experience still lingers within her mind, returning to her every so often. She was fairly renowned as a samurai, and had won many battles. However, in one specific battle against a brutish masked figure, she lost. Her squad was leading an attack against orcs that were terrorising a town near the coast, and not realising that the orcs were mutated, they jumped into battle. It was a long and tiring battle, and many in her squad were lost, but they emerged victorious. Or so they thought... As they started healing their wounded and cleaning up the colossal mess they had made, Shiori wandered into a curious looking cavern, where she was met by a single elven mage. The mage seemed to have been expecting her, and as she lunged towards him, he froze her leg in place as he taunted her with foul words and told her of his plans to destroy Toto and all those who resided therein, before creating a portal to leave through. Shiori knew that she couldn't let the mage escape, so drawing her blade, lighting it on fire, and gritting her teeth, she cut off her leg- which was merely dead tissue at that point- as she launched herself forwards and plunged the sword through the elf's throat. The remaining members of her squad found her laying unconscious, the sword still flaming, and took her back to Toto, where she received immediate medical attention and was granted a prosthetic after being told the heartbreaking news that she had been discharged from the army. She does still occasionally interact with the old members of her squad when they are home, however seldom that may be.Education
Shiori was trained in the ways of the samurai at the and is an alumnus at the Women's Bushi School.
Employment
She used to be employed in Daichi's army before suffering an injury. Now she is employed at Seto's Bathhouse.

She wants to be able to help people, and further their progress in life. She has a genuinely pure and giving soul, and merely aims to be able to make a difference- be it only one, or ten thousand- in peoples lives, striving for their success.
