Two Suns (Binary Star-system)

As the planet is locked in a figure of eight shaped orbit around it's dual suns, strange gravity bending elements have been recently discovered deep within the planet, presenting the opportunity for incredible new technologies while also drawing the attention of alien creatures from beyond.
