Yuan-ti Pureblood

The term "Mainlander" refer to an Yuan-ti (tribe) living on the mainland, where worship of "evil" deity's like Dendar the nightserpent is common and one of factor that have lead to Yuan-ti bad reputation outside Smot.

The terms "Islanders" refer to an Yuan-ti (tribe) living on Greengulf, where worship of "evil" deity like Dendar is forbidden with exile to the mainland been a possible punishment for breaking this agreed law.
Note: The most feared Yuan-ti tribe in Smot is The Black Adder's, who will attack anyone entering their territory.

Genetics and Reproduction

Majority of mainland Yuan-ti hatches from egg's, while Majority of island Yuan-ti gives birth to their offspring.
Note: Discrimination against "hatchling" is rare amongst the Greengulf tribe, while majority of the mainland tribes looks down upon Yuan-ti been born.

Draconic is considered "common" amongst Yuan-ti, yet a "Mainlander" will prefer speaking in Abyssal, while a "Islander" prefer Celestial.

Common Taboos

It's strictly forbidden in Yuan-ti society to harm a snake (or Coautl in some tribe), unless a High Speaker have deemed the snake mad/a potential danger for snake life in the area.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking

Yuan-ti scale color depends on their Tribe, as the Black Adder have jet black scale, while the Couatl tribe is light green color.
