Akane (Ah-kah-neh)
Akane is a member of the mysterious organization called Maru. Very little is known outside of her association with the group, and her apparent involvement with the ex-shrine priest Yukichi Takuzawa and the Massacre at Terawa Sanctuary, however stories have circulated through the population of Terawa regarding a "Lady Sanguine" who is described very much like this woman. Adding to this mystery is the fact that such stories have been told for several hundred years, often with a sense of folklore meant to inspire caution or fear.
