Astral Vale

The Astral Vale--also sometimes called the Astral Sea or simply Astral Plane--is a plane of existence reachable by nearly every point in the Prime Material Plane, as well as the first layer of any of the Outer Planes. It is defined as an infinitely barren space comprised of nothingness. The only solid substance that exists within The Astral are floating chunks of matter that are likely to have been inherited by neighboring planes. The environment is weightless, yet any matter maintains its mass and density.

Time in the Astral Vale flows at the same rate as in the Prime Material Plane, however its effects are slowed nearly to a stop. If one were to travel to the Astral, they could spend 1000 years there, and it would only feel like a day has passed.
