The Eiverwild is a chaotic plane unrestrained by anything but natural law, where destruction and creation are rewarded alike. Objectively, The Eiverwild is a place of untamed, unrestricted natural beauty and competition. The Eiverwild’s petitioners, known as Prey, appear as weather-beaten, haggard versions of their mortal selves clothed in simple leather and rough cloth, each pursuing their own goals regardless of the goals of others. The Prey often find their own unique paths to success, survival, and the ascension of those known as Predators.
The Eiverwild is the sister plane to Elysium. It is often incorrectly assumed to be the foil of Elysium. Rather than exist solely as Elysium’s opposite, the Eiverwild exists as the neutral third option: the absence of any law but the natural one.
The Eiverwild is home to a number of resident deities, including Orimus, Tojun, Liodara, and various Predator lords. Visitors from across the planes are drawn to the solitude of The Eiverwild’s vast, unbroken wilderness and the thrill of raw, natural competition. Tales have been told of a primitive settlement known as Wyrmwood. Allegedly, Wyrmwood has been able to carve out a semi-lawful existence in the untamed, verdant wilderness of The Eiverwild. The leader of Wyrmwood, known as The Warden in the stories, is supposed to hold more power than any other Predator Lord. This power apparently comes from the magical crown The Warden wears, the Wildercrown.
