Middlesbrough

This ancient, fortified port city has experienced a revival since the invention of gunpowder. An enterprising merchant introduced the substance to the internationally famous adventurers who slew Kugarin the Red and ended the Meridian War. Middlesbrough acknowledged the dwarf craftsman and named the district for his discovery.   Aside from its recent fame, Middlesbrough is also well known for its impregnable fortress and the annual Festival of Fire, during which visitors from across Argea illuminate the night sky with an hours-long barrage of fireworks to celebrate the discovery of gunpowder.
